The Catholic Parish of St. Gregory in Weld Bank was established in 1774. Our patron saint is depicted in the new ‘millennium window’ above, showing Pope Gregory I sending St. Augustine and his 40 holy monks to spread the ‘Good News’, evangelizing the British Isles in the sixth century.
